One of the most beneficial things I have found to change my life thru the Hatha yoga 26 + 2 series has been by setting little challenges for myself in my Yoga Practise. If you want to consistently enjoy the calming benefits of yoga, then you need to take the steps necessary to enhance your practise.Start by stepping it up a little and form some great little habits in your practise. One of the best ways to develop a good habit is to commit to a regular in class challenge. The heart of it is commitment. Make a promise to yourself and follow thru with it. Don’t set unrealistic expectations, but commit to a goal that pushes you. Whatever you commit to, do it for 40 days in your practise and form a new habit, you will drastically improve your chances of turning your yoga practise into something transformational by improving your concentration, and a sense of calmness into your everyday life. If you learn to stop fidgeting, you will automatically calm your mind and take more control of it. Start with standing still between the postures or lying still in Savasana (corpse pose). If you have an itch, scratch it with your mind instead. Don’t take my word for it, try it for yourself. Thru repetition and challenging yourself in the Hot Yoga Series 26 + 2 classes, you will soon see how beneficial it is and tap into your own awesome potential. See you in the Hot Room.
