When I speak about the soul, I am not referring to your spirit – I am actually referring to your mind, emotions, creative center.

One of the most beneficial things I have found to change my life thru the Hatha yoga 26 + 2 series has been by setting little challenges for myself in my Yoga Practise. If you want to consistently enjoy the calming benefits of yoga, then you need to take the steps necessary to enhance your practise.Start by stepping it up a little and form some great little habits in your practise.  One of the best ways to develop a good habit is to commit to a regular in class challenge.The heart of it is commitment. Yoga has that wonderful ability; it can meet us right where we are.  All we have to do is start the journey.  Once the decision has been made to begin, then we can develop our practice.  Like most things, it is not easy in the beginning.  Our bodies may seem tight and inflexible, it might seem challenging or uncomfortable.   We are carrying years of stress in these bodies of ours and it isn’t about to fall away easily.
